The Ethnic Schools Association of SA Inc (ESASA) is responsible for all aspects of this course.
Bookings will be acknowledged on the screen at the end of the booking process. The authorised Ethnic School Administrator will be advised when final event reminders are sent.
Applicants must have recorded on their online profile a current DHS Working with Children Check and a current attendance certificate for Child Safe Environments Training. If these conditions are not met, registrations will be cancelled and the applicant advised.
The cost for the course is $20.00 and will be invoiced to the applicant’s ethnic school.
Courses have a maximum enrolment of 30 participants but may be cancelled if less than 15 participants are confirmed. If applications fall below 15 participants, applicant schools and participant will be notified and offered a subsequent course.
Applicant ethnic schools acknowledge that after accepting a position in a course for a teacher, the applicant may only withdraw no later than 7 days prior to the course commencement date. Failure to provide sufficient notice will incur a $100.00 penalty to be invoiced to the applicant ethnic school and will be due and payable by that ethnic school. The penalty may be waived at ESASA’s discretion only and in considering any waiver, ESASA may require the applicant ethnic school to provide additional documentation to confirm reasons for non-attendance.
While all efforts are made to ensure courses go ahead as scheduled, ESASA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule training courses without penalty to applicants or applicant’s schools.
Places approved on courses are not transferrable to other applicants.
At no time shall ESASA be responsible for any damages, costs, losses or expenses suffered or incurred by participants in connection with any courses which are either rescheduled or cancelled.
